I always been an big avid fan of the percy jackson series it was a great modern mythology story about greek gods . Iam glad that I read this follow up series for Percy Jackson because after the Percy Jackson series I was devasted since I felt I would not see my favourites Percy , Annabeth and Grover and company any more and most importantly leaving the fun and unique world of camp half blood. This book Lost hero is original I always enjoy the adventure of the demi gods and reading about their life at camp halfblood since it's unlike anyplace in any book I read. I loved this follow up since like Riordan's Percy Jackson series it had unique characters that readers could relate to and at a camp for kids who are half human half god with different abilities. The Lost The Lost hero was an exhilarating perfectly paced page turner with the perfect mixture of action , humour and a unforgettable adventure of epic olympus size proportions. The series had likeable characters such as Jason ,Piper and Leo who starts off on a field trip who goes to a wilderness school for trouble makers their lives get complicated when they encounter monster from greek myths such as venti storm sprits and discover they are not just ordinary teens. They all embark on a quest which follows the prophecy from the last olympian. a eye opening explosive thrilling start to a brand new adventure at camp half blood which will satisfy the fans of Riordan's wildly popular Percy Jackson and the Olympians a story for anyone who enjoys myths and adventure.Readers are journey back to camp halfblood with new charcters , the characters from percy jackon such as Annabeth ,Percy (himself) ,Thalia Grace etc who assist these young heros and heroine who just discover camp halfblood. The peace does not last long at camp halfblood there is a more powerful enemy that is more threatning than Kronos and a new legacy of Heros are formed. Riordan had done it again he created a heart stopping suspenceful original novel which is different from Percy even though it takes place in the same world with same gods but more stronger and evil monsters, people been dissapearing , monsters keep rising. Which is what makes it unique and enjoyable experiance at camp half blood told in the point of view of three main characters the loyal, goodlooking and brave Jason who got amnesia who lost his memories , a strong yet beautiful native girl name Piper Mcleanand last but not least the funny and amusing Leo Valdez who is good with tools. For those who read this before Percy I suggest you read the Percy Jackson and Olympians the movie was alright but I expected better and Logan was great.

Jason is son of jupiter or zeus the god of the sky and he felt pressure of being a leader. He is like any average teenager with problems he doesn't remeber anything and only the fact that he went to a wilderness school has a best friend named Leo and a girl who seemed to be his girlfriend named Piper. Jason is heroic as his name and the hero Jason and he is brave after all he been through. I like the fact that he finds Piper beautiful because of her natural beauty and the romance was not overated it was adorable interesting and believable I loved the fact that Jason cared for Piper and they lean on each other during the tough times and he thought she beautiful in battle and she was beautiful because of her strength and when she did not wear makeup. He seemed different from the other campers he knew latin and he seemed to lost all of his memories it might have something to with him being a demigod.

Piper who is the strong native cheroke girl. I liked the fact she had sprit and determination. Despite losing her dad I admire that she is not afraid to do the right thing and she been through alot mean girls,isolation, her boyfriend does not remember and the dissaperance of her father.
But beauty is about finding the right fit, the most natural fit, To be perfect, you have to feel perfect about yourself --- avoid trying to be something you're not. For a goddess, that's especially hard. We can change so easily.

I like the fact she was not shallow and selfish despite that she is the daughter of Aprodite and she fought for what she loved and believe in and did what she had to do and not care what others thought of her. She undergoes a transformation and becomes more confident.

Overall it was an amazing intense story which will hold the readers' attention until the very last page with a cliffhanger which will make the readers say holy hepthat would leave them clamouring for more.
